Volunteer Servants
What is a Volunteer Servant?
As a volunteer servant at ARISE, you will serve in various capacities based on the conference's needs to provide the necessary support and ensure smooth operations.
The duties may include helping the kitchen and dining room staff with dishwasher duties, dining room cleaning, or serving the meals; facilitating activities in the relay race and sports competitions; making orban; attending to the duties of Coptic Cafe by making smoothies, etc.; helping with retreat center clean-up; connecting with attending youth to ensure their happiness, participation in the programming, and integration with other youth.

What is NOT a Volunteer Servant?
A volunteer servant is not a servant assigned to come with a group of youth from their parish. The parish priest appoints such and the servant needs to complete the registration form as indicated on the website.

Application Process
To apply as a volunteer servant at M.O.V.E., you must be at least a college graduate and in good standing with the blessing of your parish priest. Your application will be routed to your Father Confessor for approval and input from your Parish Priest (if not the same as the Father Confessor) will be requested. Applicants, selected for further review, will be contacted for a phone interview. The deadline to register is December 8, 2025.

Training
Volunteer Servant training is held virtually about two weeks prior to the conference and attendance is mandatory.
